smartArtz is the use of Digital technology - Music Keyboards, Cameras, Scanners, CD Writers etc. - in conjunction with Hi-spec Computers, to produce Videos, Music CDs, Photos, Animations,
e-Books and anything else that falls into the creative net.

smartArtz is for beginners and for experts alike. smartArtz aims to help people produce professional standard music, films, animation or whatever is being proposed. Digital technology that is user friendly can perform a number of tasks that will help to render a piece of music or a finished video into a pro format with ease.

The basic idea is to interest Young People who may or may not already have computer skills in a project which they run, where the creative ideas for whatever piece of music, subject for a video film, and so on, comes from the Young People themselves.

The funded project is targeted at 11-19 year old Young People in Chesterfield, NE Derbyshire and Bolsover and at Socially Excluded Adults.

Delivery of smartArtz sessions outside of the funded area is by arrangement.
