Third Piper received Charity Status in January 2005 and has operated under a Trust Deed since April 2005 - Charity Registration No:1107603. The current Trustees are:

The area of benefit is the County of Derbyshire and the object of the Charity is to
�Advance the education and training of the public in the practice and appreciation of the Arts�

The financial targets Third Piper have recently adopted to ensure the continuation of the
Project are to establish a �1.5 million Endowment Fund, to raise �500,000 for an ArtBase, and to establish a Project Fund of �250,000 for one off activities.
